Georgy has more than 15 years of R&D and product management experience in the healthcare domain mostly focusing on AI.
Georgy holds a PhD in Medical Engineering from Dresden University of Technology.

Abstract
The talk will explore the current state, opportunities, and challenges of using AI in Ophthalmology. With the advancement of AI technology, there has been a growing interest in the application of AI in healthcare, and Ophthalmology is one area where AI has shown great promise, particularly in the field of image analysis. The talk will cover the current state of AI in Ophthalmology, including the various AI techniques being used. Additionally, the talk will highlight the opportunities that AI presents in Ophthalmology for both clinical and operational domains. Finally, the talk will address the challenges that need to be overcome for AI to be successfully developed and integrated into clinical practice.
