Abstract
In this presentation, we will explore the intricacies of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSCR), two prevalent retinal diseases that significantly impact vision. We will delve into the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying each condition, highlighting recent advancements in our understanding of their etiologies. The talk will also cover current diagnostic techniques and the latest therapeutic strategies, emphasizing evidence-based management practices. By comparing and contrasting AMD and CSCR, attendees will gain a comprehensive perspective on these disorders, enabling improved patient care through informed clinical decisions. This session is designed for ophthalmologists, optometrists, and vision researchers seeking to enhance their knowledge of retinal disease management.
